I cannot say enough good things about our Pledge Class for 2013. They are all such great girls - really smart and creative too! They planned a yard sale to help raise funds equally for our private lesson scholarships and disaster relief in West, Texas. The yard sale was so successful that we may do it again next year!

Emily BrandtEmily is returning to Baylor in the fall to work on a master's in music theory with an assistantship!
Sarah DempskyThis summer, Sarah is staying at home in Plano, TX and looking for her first job for the 2013-2014 school year. She is looking to find a middle school assistant band director position in the north Dallas area.
Shabria RayShabria is moving to Maryland in the fall to work on a master's in viola performance at the University of Maryland!

Crystal ClemonsCrystal is spending her second summer serving at Project Transformation. She's also applying for elementary music jobs around the Dallas area.
Gabrielle JagenGaby will be attending Texas Women's University in the fall to pursue a master's in music therapy!
Jasmine ReedJasmine has a job in League City, TX at Bayside Intermediate as their choir director! She will be working at Gap this summer and working on her choral program for the Fall.

Stephanie ColburnStephanie will be working the music camps, helping her brother plan his wedding and going to New Orleans for NFA over the summer. She is returning to Baylor in the fall to pursue a master's in band conducting with a full assistantship!
Jenny LanhamJenny will be working in Katy ISD as the new music teacher at Wolfe Elementary. She is getting her Kodaly Level 1 certification this summer and will also be performing at the National Flute Association in August in New Orleans with a flute sextet from Baylor!

Bethany Bonnette - "My cool summer plans:
- pick up my fiancé from Waco after a long 15 days without him while he was on a mission trip with the Baylor University Men's Choir!
- Work as a camp counselor all summer at Kidventure, a day camp!
- visit El Paso for one week to see the future in-laws
- plan my wedding!!!!!"
Brittany Bonner - "I am teaching lessons to kids in the area and working at a frozen yogurt shop called Pinkberry! I am going to Waco periodically to help the Golden Wave Band with orientation. I am taking a trip in July, but I'm not positive where at yet, maybe Arkansas or Tennessee!"
Brianna Compton - "This summer I'm going to Disney World with my family and also working at U Swirl, Academy, and I'm teching for my high school band at the end of the summer."
Christine Cookus - "This summer I am in Waco finishing a class, working at summer camps, wedding dress shopping, and wedding planning!!"
Kelsie Dunham - "I am going on a road trip with my best friend to the Grand Canyon and I am working full time at Sonic. Also, I am making lots of crafts."
Kim Griffin - "I am going to Williamstown, Massachusetts to be a costume intern at the Williamstown Theatre Festival."
Elizabeth Hebert - "I have a fellowship at Marrowstone Music Festival in Bellingham, WA! Wooooo!"
Savana Hughey - "My "cool" summer plans are being a camp counselor at the Perry YMCA and playing cello in Fiddler on the Roof."
Allison Jayroe - "I am going to work at the Baylor band camps in June, then attending a music program in Massachusetts in July. I am also going to the National Flute Association convention in New Orleans!"
Sarah Saenz - "I am going to the Baylor Flute Seminar and then to the National Flute Association convention in August."
Katie Salvatore - "This summer, I am performing in the Masterworks Music Festival for the Christian Performing Artist. I will participate in orchestral excerpt studies, lessons, solo and chamber music, and concerts in addition to Bible Studies and Christian Discipleship."
Emily Thomasson - "This summer I'm back home in Friendswood, TX and planning on working at Target again and hanging out with family. I'm also excited to be going to Tennessee in late July with Bella Voce to perform at the International Brass Symposium/Convention."
And finally, our beau, Bryce Swift:
"Being awesome/saving the world/inspiring young musicians across a three week time period/getting beautiful/getting fit."
