Mu Phi Epsilon RUSH Requirements!
1. Attend at least FOUR* rush events. (*Formal Tea is required and counts as one of your four events.)
2. Turn in Rush Application. The due date is Friday, February 22 by 4 PM in the Mu Phi Epsilon mailbox in Roxy Grove (when you walk into Roxy Grove, it is on the right, next door to the secretary’s office).
3. Turn in unofficial transcript. You must have at least a GPA of 3.0 in music and a 2.5 overall. Staple your unofficial transcript to the back of your application.
· How do you find your unofficial transcript? Go to bearweb.baylor.edu and login. Then, go to Student Services & Financial Aid. Click on Student Records, then Transcript Menu. View Unofficial Transcript then hit submit. Then, print out and attach it to your Rush Application.
4. Turn in a Teacher Recommendation form: staple with application or have your professor take it to the Mu Phi Epsilon mailbox in the Roxy Grove Mailroom for you.
5. Attend Formal Tea Interviews on Sunday, October 5th.
6. Create a Statement of Intent that you will bring to Formal Tea and present to the chapter.
· What is a Statement of Intent? A Statement of Intent is something that shows why you want to be in Mu Phi and what you can bring to the chapter. This is usually a creative project.
