Many of us would be busy as we prepped for the Monday ahead, but I cherished the Sunday night post-meeting discussions with my sisters. Sometimes, they were exactly what I needed to help me keep practicing or studying. Future Plans: I'm thrilled to begin my educational career as Seguin High School's Assistant Choir Director in Arlington ISD. This exciting opportunity to return to my home district would not be possible without the loving support from my Baylor and my Mu Phi family! As a whole experience, the best times were had in circle up in Spring of 2013. We all grew as people and especially as an organization that semester. We were confused, scared, and emotional, but it turned out to be the most successful semester I experienced! I will miss it so much! On April 26th, our chapter hosted our annual "Pre-President's Concert Spaghetti Dinner" at the Austin Avenue Methodist Church in Waco, TX. Music students and their families and friends attending the concert were able to swing by and get a tasty spaghetti dinner with Texas toast garlic bread! We were also selling old Welcome Fest shirts at a discount price at the door. This is one of our annual fund-raisers that goes towards our music lessons scholarship fund. It was also our first event with our new members! Here are the newest members of the Phi Xi Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon at Baylor University! We are so excited to welcome you to our chapter! :) Below are pictures taken after the initiation ceremony including group pictures of the new PC '14 and members who were able to be present at the event from PC 2010-2013. On April 11th we had our Big Sister Reveal for the 2014 Pledge Class! We exchanged gift baskets full of Mu Phi family heirlooms, new family shirts, etc. and had a blast finally uniting families together. We even had quite a few alumni drive/fly in town for this special tradition! April 12, 2014 Our annual Mu Phi Epsilon & Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Formal was held at the Cameron Park Clubhouse this year. We had the optional theme of "Dynamic Duos" where couples could dress up as their favorite characters/celebrity couples, etc. We had a photo booth set up so we have a ton of photos from that.
