Hello, VP's here! This past Monday we had our Movie Night Rush event where we watched "Dirty Dancing" and hung out! What better way to get to know our candidates than hanging out, enjoying some snacks, and watching a classic love story? There were 5 candidates there which is good considering we had to postpone this event. We only have 2 rush events left before Formal Tea and we are very excited about all the girls who are interested! This Saturday (2/25) is our "Paparazzi" themed event and we are having a Photo Scavenger Hunt! We will put everyone in groups, give them a list with places, on a off campus, and they will do what's instructed for that location and take a picture. For example: The Bear Trail (take a picture dancing with a boy). Each one is worth a certain number of points and the team with the most points wins! This should be a really fun day and we are all looking forward to it!

Hello All!
I am proud to be the Mu Phi Epsilon Phi Xi Chapter President. It has been an exciting semester so far with fundraisers, meeting, sisterhood events and rush events! While it has been overwhelming at times, being with such wonderful girls all the time is wonderful. "Because your worth it." This week we supported our Mu Phi Alum Dr. Joyce Jones in her farewell concert as she is retiring after this semester. It was a wonderful night of organ and it was great to hear her stories about her adventures while playing the organ, traveling the world and meeting such interesting people. She is a fascinating woman and we will be sad to see her go. We plan on doing more events with Dr. Jones and listening to more of her stories as a Mu Phi and professor at Baylor. After her recital we presented her with a bouquet of roses and a basket of violets. We sang the triangle to her and took pictures and there were hugs all around! I look forward to a very exciting semester with new candidates, a take-a-date, Spaghetti dinner, a recital and our Moonlight Serenade formal! -Kim Griffin |
