I am proud to be the Mu Phi Epsilon Phi Xi Chapter President. It has been an exciting semester so far with fundraisers, meeting, sisterhood events and rush events! While it has been overwhelming at times, being with such wonderful girls all the time is wonderful. "Because your worth it."
This week we supported our Mu Phi Alum Dr. Joyce Jones in her farewell concert as she is retiring after this semester. It was a wonderful night of organ and it was great to hear her stories about her adventures while playing the organ, traveling the world and meeting such interesting people. She is a fascinating woman and we will be sad to see her go. We plan on doing more events with Dr. Jones and listening to more of her stories as a Mu Phi and professor at Baylor. After her recital we presented her with a bouquet of roses and a basket of violets. We sang the triangle to her and took pictures and there were hugs all around! I look forward to a very exciting semester with new candidates, a take-a-date, Spaghetti dinner, a recital and our Moonlight Serenade formal!
