This past month, our current Co-Vice President (and Past President) Brittany Bonner won the 2016 Baylor University School of Music Concerto Competition! Contestants must perform a complete solo concerto with orchestra, chamber orchestra, or wind ensemble with a minimum length of 12 minutes. She performed the Oboe Concerto by David Mullikin (1999) for the competition. Several students enter in this competition, but only one winner is chosen through an intensive judging process. This is a tremendous honor and accomplishment, and we could not be more proud! Brittany is a Senior Instrumental Music Education major. |
